In a moment of crisis at a school playground, a seemingly innocent push led to a serious emergency. As one student collided with a desk, a swelling appeared on his neck and started increasing rapidly, causing breathing difficulties. Recognizing the severity of the situation, our physician present on ground, sprang into action.
Without any delay, an ambulance was called and an ENT specialist from our panel, was duly informed. The student was swiftly transported to the nearby hospital facility, where our panel’s ENT specialist readily performed a life-saving procedure. Our physician's agility and immediate action in the face of a life-threatening emergency, proved crucial, in saving the child’s life.
Thanks to the rapid response of our BICPHS team, the child was able to breathe a new day. This incident emphasizes the importance of preparedness and vigilance in ensuring the safety and well-being of every student.
